I think a few other misc things
Tim calls me halfway through april and says come get it. I'm halfway home (live 55 miles from his shop) and car is acting up big time, running super rich, going through fuel like crazy. I limped it to monroeville where I work and parked it. Timmy then came down saturday night at 8pm and helped me with car till 4 AM. We didn't find the problem this time around. Under some recommendations, we replaced the new bosch o2's with OEM Ford o2's. This fixed the rich problem, but now car ran super lean.
We then got a recommendation that my ECU got fried somehow. Without any hesitation, Timmy took it to local ford dealer and had a new ECU put in, and without getting into details, Timmy really stepped up to the plate and covered me on the new ECU.
This still didn't fix the problem. So next, I plugged labtop and xcal2 in, and datalogged the fuel trims and o2 banks on the car, then emailed the file to one of my tuners. He immediately told me that my o2 wire harness was reversed. Meaning when the harness was set down in the car, the left wire was on the right and right on the left, they were backwards.
So Timmy came out tonight at 6 to my work and followed me home. In pouring rain, he spent half hour under my car fixing the reversed o2 harness's. Car now is running 100% and I can't thank Tim enough.
Some people look at me like an idiot because my car had problems when I got it back, and I was being calm about it. Well you know what, F**K em lol. Timmy worked with me EVERY step of the way and made sure he fixed it. I by no means expected to spend money on this car and do what we did, and not have it be perfect out of the box. I know problems occur when this extensive work like this car just went through.
Timmy went out of his way to keep me happy and did this at his own expense, multiple times. He came out 60 miles each way and towed the car back for free, he's come to my house several times now trying to diagnose the car. I really can't thank him enough. Tim, you will have my business for life partner, and you can be sure i'll send customers your way.
I've been in sales my entire life and make a great living at it, and customer service in my book has been the #1 factor in every sales aspect. Timmy, you got it down pat man!!!
