just got off phone with him. 125k miles, 94 on rebuilt engine. was bought in cali, and wrecked, somewhat minor. trunk not lined up. no rust. garage parked since he moved here. driver side window doesn't always go up and down, may need new relay or motor. he says he he thinks it needs new battery cause he has to jump it all the time (alt? maybe?) claims 319 horses. ....even gave me his address.....any takers? lol
I just called him and he told me the same thing lol. So atleats he's not lying. Someone give me your expert advice on this one. Good deal? yes or no? Im really looking to get a new stang since i drive a 99 cavailier:mad1: lol
for the price...ya cant go wrong...more than 1500 in parts there.
most likely will need relay or motor for drivers door, maybe new alt and/ or battery/ trunk from what he told me. so your probably looking to put another $500-$1000 into it, depending if your getting new or used parts. maybe little less if you can get some good deals. might not be too bad of a deal. the only thing I'd watch is the engine he said is already rebuilt and has 94k miles on it. he told me the tires were 2500? not sure about that. but that the tread should be good on them. if he didnt give you his addy I can give it to you if you wanted to look at it. not too bad of a deal if you don't mind having the work done first...
I just went to look at the car for the hell of it, pretty trashed out. Could be fixed, but would be expensive. Motor sounded good, but smoked. Had a cold air kit and cnl upper intake on it. Interior really dirty. Quarter panel bent, keeping trunk from shutting. Guy took pliers to the trunk to try to get it to shut and still wont. Has rdot fenders and hood. $500 car to me.

Thanks for all the replies. So there will be alot of money to be put into it? So should i just wait and find something nicer?
If your looking for somewhat of a project it wouldn't be bad, especially if you can do body work or know someone who can. Things that bother me are how its so tweaked that the trunk wont shut, and how the engine burns oil badly.

if trunk wont close, could be bent rear frame... depending on how hard it was hit.. for the money to buy then figure out what you have to put into it, i'd keep looking

Yea well i dont no how to do body work and dont have anyone i know that could do it cheap so looks like im going to be waiting for another stang to come along.
Yea, its got a wrinkle right by the rear roof pillar. It probably need to be put on frame machine to fix it right.
