I get to update my sig...new best

    Still need a lot of practice....best 60' was 1.73 on my 18" nitto dr's.

    But that 60' was good for 11.52 @ 125

So close to hearing...."You need a cage."...but i'll get that 11.4x run sooner or later.

Or i could get some real tires and run 10's...LOL

Nice times. I had a heck of time with traction the first few passes, but the track seemed to come around later. Got to love you knocking on the door of a roll bar ;)

2000 GT - mods are basic: ported blower + plenum, throttlebody, 4# lower, 2.8 upper (16psi), and full exhaust..the driver mod has been the biggest improvement thus far...and still needs work. A 1.6x sixty on the nitto's is my goal.

Bob - did you get a new best? I think you went 12.5x @ 110 or so on that last run....looked like a good clean pass. You were only spinning the right rear on your burnout...maybe some new clutches in the rear over winter? I said it last night but i'll say it again...super clean capri....definately a cool car.

    Thanks John,

It did go a new best 12.55 at 110, I was expecting more. Funny thing is, I put new clutches in the thing last week. Seems like it drops out on the burnout sometimes, then is okay. I dunno, will look into it some more....even funnier thing, 60' times were 1.66 - 1.68 after the first few passes.

Good to see you out there.

hmmmmm.....Well it was filled with Lucas 80W90, then when I put the clutches in, I added one quart of Kenadll 80W90 then the rest of the way with the Lucas stuff (less than a month old).

    Got a recomendation?

Use reg, no synthetic. the clutches grab better with the natural stuff.
