factory rev limiter question

I am not sure if the 96-07 cars have a rev limiter, i am pretty sure but dont know, can anyone tell me please...

On my Mach it is set at 100 RPM over redline (cutoff at 7100RPM)

Factory rev limiter on my cobra was 6500

96-98 cobras i think are 7100 as well not sure on the 2 valve cars, my buddy shifted his 96 at 6750 most of the time

On the 99-04 2 valves the factory limiter is set at 6050. Not sure if it was the same for the 96-98.

yep, they dropped it on the 03/04's. I have mine set around 6800 now I think. Power peaks around 6000 or so anyways, so not much point in going much past that on the sc'd cars.

I think the rev limiter on my 97 4.6 2V is 6100 but i'm not sure my car revs too fast for the gauge, i've already puched it in first gear, spun tire and hit rev limiter at 5500. LoL
