    Few 99-04 questions

ok so soon here i am gonna start doing stuff to my 99 v6. i have two questions. what is the widest tire that can be fit in these. i was looking at 18X10 wheels and not sure of a good tire size for that. but would 18X10 in the back and 18X9 up front work?? also any suggestions on a good tire size? and i am going to put dual exhaust on it now would i have to cut holes or anything in the rear bumper for the tips to clear? any help will be appreciated

I'm running 18X9.5's front and rear on my 00GT. I've had friends with 18x11's CCW's on the rear of their 03 cobra's. It's a tight fit, but looks real nice with the fat tire on the rear.

They sell a special duel exhaust for V-6's that slant down right at the rear so you can run your stock bumper without modifications.

i'd go with 9-9.5" up front and 10-10.5 on the back.. I was doing research on that before i got ride of my 03". You can put a 285 on the back without worries (as long as backspacing is good). I've seen 305-315's on the back of GT's but they had to flip the quadrashock and beat their exhaust and/or rear fender lip into submission...
