Dude, I feel your pain!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 32. My in-laws live right effing next door. So you can use your imagination. I get the ****ing calls to clean the outside kitchen window. I get the "If somebody loved me, they would wash my car" I said Phuck that shit. Wash your own car, bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get a Phucking horn blowing on Saturday freaking morning. That means come carry the groceries in. Bullshit. I just pretend I never heard it. I can go on here all day. You know it as well as I do.

I hang with my Dad all the time, prob one of the coolest people I know and my best friend and wouldn't trade it for the world. Me and the wife go to dinner with them or everytime we cook they come over. Guess just lucky to have cool parents. And I only live a min away.

Sometimes when someone is demanding your time after a long days work it can wear you down, but you do need to but it in the perspective of what if they weren't there...or how many times they gave up something they wanted to do for you. I would do anything for my family, and I know they have and would again for me. Thats what families for right?!:p I am dean of woman at a kids camp, and I have seen a hundred times the effect of parents not being there for their kids. Makes me grateful for my family everytime.

sorry adam, know you were just frustrated and that understandable, but some people (not you) need to put things into a different perspective.

i'm the perfect distance... 1hr 15 mins... to far to drop by just for the heck of it, but not too far that i can't get home if i need to be there, or if they want me to help with something....
My rents said they'd give me 10 acres to build a house on (out of their 90 acres of woods) but i dont think i can be that close to them... My one bro lives like 150 yrds up the hill from them... My mom doesnt even need a phone... being within yelling distance of my mother would be horrific for me... my father, however, little different story..... but i just can't be that close to my rents nor that far from my job

What perspective would that be? Cuz i've been in both. You? I hope not.

Troll, sorry for coming off like that, really didn't mean to. It bothers me greatly when people get upset at what seems like a major problem to them, or bothersome at the time, that a parent, sibling, grandparent does. Later down the road, hopefully alot later, it will seem silly that you or others became upset with said person in your individual circumstances. In an instant they are gone.
