    I hate PA inspection

So for those that know my car, it obviously doesn't pass inspection for various reasons. So of course my buddy sends me somewhere because "he knows" someone that can pass it. Well it passes emissions with flying colors. I guess they accidently overlooked my window tint and my "special" Hpipe. Guy comes out and says my 315 bfg's won't pass. I'm like WTF, you pass everything else but fail the tires???

Tires are almost brand new, but I guess BFG drags come with next to nothin tread on them. So I just overnighted some 315 nitto drags and I'm going back so he can give me my inspection sticker. I don't even want these nittos, they're garbage with this much HP, just about useless. But its the only tire that fits my 10.5 wheel and the cheapest I could find.

If anyone wants to buy some brand new 315 nitto drags, let me know. I'm mounting them for inspection then they're coming right back off.

I just wanted to get that off my chest lol...

Yea, 315/35/17 Nitto Drag Radials. They are actually really good tires with 450HP or under, I had an old set that lasted 8k miles with severe abuse. it's just with anything over 500 HP, they melt right off lol. I just paid $348 shipped from discounttiredirect.com

Damn KB if you would have got it inspected a couple of weeks ago I would have taken those new Nitto's off your hands. I just got some the end of May.

I told ya you needed new tires in a previous thread.

By the way... Tint is NOT part of the inspection code in PA. If they fail you for it, you can argue it with him.

Indeed. I probably would have failed you if you came in too.

EDIT: The use of sarcasm in this should have been noted.

1-Window tint no longer part of state inspection.
2-OBDII emissions no visual required.Depending on county.(or you would have failed)
3-Don't get pulled over by a state boy, he will have a field day with you.
4-It's not our rules,we just have to follow them.

Thats why I keep it under 5000 miles so no emissions. I have never been hassled yet for no cats, and if I do I will just get a set of hollowed ones put on.
