    tire on 10.5 rim

    Whats the smallest size tire you can run on a 10.5 wide rim out back?

    this is for the street also...

    15", 17", or 18"... a 275 will be to stretched to go on a 17x10.5 you only option will be a 315/35/17

    this might be easier for you to understand the rim width range for a 275/40/17 by most tire companies is 9-10.5

    So I guess we have a tire pro here now. He was asking for the size for a 10.5 tire. So this tire would work. That helps too seeing as I am getting 10.5 wheels too.

    There are a few tires that come in 285 40 17. My 315's fit on real nice tho.
