    MGW shifter rant

For the second time in as many FLD'd the screw handle 12mm all thread that the shift nob screws on to came loose and in the semi finals in the street contender class, I missed second gear cuz the handle was loose. I'm lock tighting it and putting a jam nut on it too. I should have bought the Pro 5.0 shifter.

If the lock tight and jam nut dont work (hopefully it don't cost me any more races) it'll get tossed into the street. Yes I tightened the piss out of it after the last time it came loose.

That's the first complaint I've heard about them as well. I think mine's a little notchy, but I'm sure that's more the T56 than the MGW.

I have 13k on the car now and it started to shift better as of late. I was looking for a 12 mm nut before heading out but I didn't have one in the garage.
