time to start cleaning my office

well about 2 hours into work boss starts being uptight and not talking. he even called down and told me to get off myspace.

(1. i dont even have a myspace, and 2. the secretary needs to keep her mouth shut. i dont say anything to him when she sends me dirty emails.

)

anyways, steph calls me and tells me to call this guy at the City office who i interviewed with. long story short he tells me he talked to my boss this morning (that explains a lot) they offered me the job. i will start at end of july due to vacations. he said the job offer was delayed cuz they were waiting on my background check to come back.

all is good and i get a new job with amazing benefits. even a free gym/spa membership. :)

it is a 0.50 per hour pay cut for 6 months then im back to where i was with 3% increase per year at least.

Nice, congrats! I'm looking into a different job too. I want to work with computers (all the time), and I just may be able to; the company is BDT Customs. I'm waiting for a call from them.

same principle i do know....drafting, surveying, GIS Mapping, and such.

three weeks a year ill get to work night shift and check/test lines for leaks and/or breaks.

ill be working for the city in the engineering department. the insurance and benefits are amazing. as well as a guarantee salary raise yearly + the COL raise each year.
