Im looking for an 8.8 31 spline trac lock differential. Let me know if anyone has anything. It doesnt have to rebuilt or anything.

For as much as you drive it, why not just put a spool in it?
Id rather not go that route. I do like to drive it on the street a lil bit.

Well have to discuss this. You did talk me out of not buying that manual rack and that worked out.

Just ask Lou, he'll tell ya. I'm sure that for the 3 or 4 times a year you actually drive it on the street around West Mifflin you won't have any problems.
i have a good one if you need it, 100$ and i will set it up stupid tight for you...

Has anyone tried Eaton's True Trac? I hear it is a better then the Ford Track Loc, but easier on the street.

The ones we use them in never seen slicks but worked gr8 on the street. Lou would know better i would take his advice.

Sorry to hijack the thread...
This is for a 400hp street car on 255/40 17 street tires. I was told the Ford TLoc would slip more then the Eaton. Thus the Eaton would give me more (true dual wheel) traction. Any merit to that? Or just go with the alternate Steel / shim / steel / shim configuration in a T-Loc?
Let me know if I should start a new thead.
I've installed a few of them, and a factory ford diff is no where near as nice as a true track. They don't have any clutch packs to burn out like a stock piece, and they don't bind up on corners like a Detriot Locker. If you drive it on the street a True Track is the way to go.
