    Future Mods

I have been thinking about doing some future mods that will be relatively cheap.
Obviously the most noticable mods are H/C/I (heads, cam, and intake)

I have recently replaced my stock intake with the cobra intake, which has a little better flow over stock.

Since heads are too pricey, I figured on dropping a cam in to wake up the car a little.

What else might I need besides a cam to rattle my brains when I stomp on the gas?

Ahh if you going with the trouble to swap cam, it's time for heads!! Look for a cheep set of steel GT-40 heads or a used set of aluminum heads. I had an e-cam with stock heads and GT-40 intake and the power band just fell off hard. The heads couldn't flow enough and the valve were more than likely floating with the stock valve springs. She sounded good with the cam, but the car couldn't back up the sound ;) Now with the trick flow heads on her....wow what a difference!!

I agree, if your doing a cam pick up a set of used heads or even get the stock ones ported.

Aftermarket cam + E7TE's = bad move and perhaps loss of power. I wouldn't put one red cent into porting E7TE cylinder heads. As suggested above find some GT40 P's if you wanna do it on the cheap OR invest in some aluminum castings from the numerous offerings available from the aftermarket. Total Engine Airflow (330-634-2155) has been producing top notch TFS products and can provide you with a cylinder head(s) to meet your needs.

    1.7 rockers

I got a line on #24 injectors. I don't want the heads and I am looking for 1.7 rockers

Is the steeda #19 cam comparable to the B303 cam?
