roller rockers

does anybody know if i can use 1.7" roller rockers with an e303 cam and e7 heads or should i stick with 1.6"? what is stock on e7 heads 1.6"?

I think crane or comp sells the roller rocker kit for stock heads that are 1.7 ratio. One thing to remember your going to need to upgrade the stock valve springs when you do the cam swap. If you don't your going to run into valve float towards the top end of the RPM range.

If it was me I'd hold off and save up for some better heads to take atvantage of the cam, like a set of used GT-40's. I ran e7's with a E cam and stock valve train and it sounded nice, but power fell off fast due to valve float and the poorly flowing heads.

well the cam was in when i bought the car, and i already got the e7 heads cause the heads on my car are shot, so with the things i already have what would you reccomend roller 1.6 or just leave it alone and use what i got?
