I pulled this T-Loc rear from a 1990 (?) Ranger 4x4. The axle code was R7. The question is... this diff has a sensor on the housing and it reads the fingers on the diff just under the ring gear (anti lock?). Will this diff work in my 87 8.8?

If the diff you pulled had 28 spline axles in it,then yes. Just unbolt the ring gear and take off the ring. Yes its for abs.
I did not realize the ABS ring was removable. Thanks.
