    Moving to Pittsburgh!

Well I haven't been on much lately, but I have some pretty exciting news, at least to me lol. I landed a job at Davison Design (in RIDC) in Pittsburgh, I start on the 23rd and I am movin into my new place in Aspinwall (2 br + garage ) Wednesday the 18th. I look forward to meetin some of the local guys, just wonderin who is from around Aspinwall, or the Pittsburgh area in general. I was VERY excited to snag up a place with a garage so I could bring the stang along with me.

yep! Well they also do corporate projects as well. I'll be starting in the prototyping division, so I'll get to play with CNC's, laser cutters, water jets, all that fun high dollar stuff I'll never be able to afford, haha.

Well I've been told that once each year, every employee is allowed to run their own project and use as many company machines as they want. I'll look into it and see when I'll get my chance, then me and you can work somethin out and possibly produce a small run

Well guys I'm all moved in...still have to get my cars registered in PA (that's gonna be a PITA with the mustang but I have 2 weeks to do it), but other than that I'm good to go. It seems my building has one fat girl and the rest are old people lol, should be fun when I shake the building every time I start up the car in the garage.

    a few questions:

    1) anybody know a gym that isn't too expensive? I saw Club One Fitness at Waterworks, but was wonderin what else is around.

    2) Do I have to get emissions tested to register my stang here? I know the rule of less than 5k miles per year you don't have to do emissions, but I didn't know if you had to get an initial testing.

    3) lastly, if anybody has a place appropriate for washing/detailing cars, please let me know...I don't have access to a hose and I am not a fan of the self-serve car washes.

I look forward to hangin out with some of you local guys, maybe hittin up flashlight drags, etc...

I go to Bally's there are four in the area and its only $49/mo. They have everything available. pool, weights, cardio, classes, trainers, etc. Some of the gyms that are cheaper have more specialized areas..one might have more available for cardio and one lifting....depends on what you do more.

I think Dan knows a guy that details...maybe monroeville area? maybe he can jump in and recommend..I do mine in the drive way, so I'm not sure on that one.

I would just leave your cars registered in WV if I were you. My parents still live in WV so I have my truck registered there. I wish my cobra was registered in WV, I might actually get it inspected then, lol. I've had my truck here in PA for over 3 years and the whole time it has had WV plates and I've never been hassled. I figure you could always just say you park it there 7 months out of the year.

I think that's what I'm gonna do. Otherwise I'd have to pay taxes on both cars AGAIN and then pay for inspection, emissions, etc... I'll just make the hour and a half drive back to Wheeling once a year to get the inspection and call it a day lol.

That's pretty close, I'll check it out... is it set up pretty well for lifting? I run a couple times a week, but I mainly lift so that's what I'm most concerned with.
