Any one work on Triton 6.8 V-10?

I work on these trucks all the time today I came across a problem that I have not came across. When I plugged my scanner in I got a P1447 code which is EPC "electronic pressure control" High Voltage circuit short. which the computer tells this solenoid how much pressure to give the tranny. The truck hesitates to rev and won't get out of its own way. The solenoid is new and I followed all the wires and can find any problems. When I clear the code the trucks runs Great then within minutes the service engine soon light is back on and she is running bad again. any Ideas

Is there a fuel rail pressure sensor on those? If so try unplugging it to see if it runs better. The hesitation sounds just like my Cobra did when the fuel rail pressure sensor went bad.
