??Door/Trunk Remote Not Working??

Ok so i was down south side lastnight the key ring remote locked the car, then 3 hours later after i left Deisel it was not functioning at all??
my parts guy replaced ther battery at work today and still not locking or unlocking??
any ideas?
possible he put wrong battery in?
maybe a odd fuse?

Make sure it's not in backwards.

Did someone drop the keys? (Did you valet park it?)

who doesnt drop the keys lol...
but at the moment i locked the car with the remote as usual.. walked away, not long after came back and it was not working... i even swapped out the battery with my boy bobs lastnight?

The local dealer usually has a remote tester to check for output signals.

We have one and can test all types of remote transmitters. Do you have access to one where you go for service or purchased the car?

Maybe you just need to reset the transmitter. Do this: close all doors and cycle the key on/off seven times and then to on again. You have to be quick though. The locks should cycle and then hit any button on your transmitter and it should reset if thats what the problem is. Sounds odd but the same thing happened to me last year and that fixed it.

Im a salesman at DAY Toyota/Saturn in Pleasant Hills...
i will ask them about a transmitter when i get in the office tomorrow...

and i am goan go try the reset thing right now lol...
