What size is it? I just cleaned the K&N in the 95. The MAFS looks just as big as the 76mil in my notch. What is the size in a 95 GT? I want to know if it aftermarket?
Hey Colin I believe it's a 70mm from the factory. A sizeable improvement over the 1988 (cali) 1989-1993 LX 5.0L/GT 55mm M.A.F.

As Joe said they are a lot bigger than the 93-older 58mm units found in the foxes. I'm not sure on the exact dimension of the '94-95 meter, but 70mm sounds about right.
The biggest tip I can give you Colin is to remove the MAF in a week or so and CAREFULLY clean the MAF wires with a Q tip and rubbing alcohol. The '94-95 MAF voltage is used to calculate load in the '94-95 EEC and any oil from a K&N that gets on the MAF wires will cause havoc with the car. Its a good idea to clean the MAF wires every year with these cars since they can be temperamental when it comes to the MAF and its output voltage. This is why most guys have issues with the C&L meters due to their design and methodology of metering.

I slept 3 1/2 hours that morning and was on the road to VA by 11:00 am. Tailgated before the Poison concert and threw a couple back that night as well.:D
