Open H-pipe

I was thinking about running an open H-pipe next time i go to PRP, does anyone know if it will hurt the motor at all? would it help the E/T ?

Yes, my 2000 GT would do that (up the street ). At night it would light up the underside of the car. That was with just a prochamber.

whats "open H" like no rear section/axel back?

i know that the foxbody needs a muffler for backpressure (which helps with performance) so if it's the same on the newer cars then you car will not run 100%
