I was thinking about it today at work. I'm pretty sure the rear clip was done at Pleasant Valley Auto out RT 982 (by Bullskin Fairgrounds).

This was not the one with the silver/gray stripes over the top. That one has been setting covered in a garage down the road from Scottdale. This guy has a 73' Mach 1 in the garage also.

Right by my house and where my 85 corvette is... But i just talked to the kids brother about it and he said his brother sold it to huffmans.. And this car was in scottdale in a garage and never came out.

Do you guys know if the motor is all stock? It looked like the stock exhaust all the way back to me.

As far as I know it is all stock, he bought stuff to put into it and never put it on.

i'll throw my 2 cents back as well.
have owned quite a number of r title cars, in fact my 95 Trans Am was a tow in from my friends business never claimed, abandoned and got a R title brand with no accident.


Plain and simple when it comes time to sell them, everyone wants to beat you to death over the price over that little letter on the title...and dealers won't touch them for a trade in unless you take pennys on the dollar from them.
I am cringing for the day when i do sell it because even with new paint and the fact it looks excellent i will have to sell to a private party who will use the "letter" on the title as a bargaining token.
I just keep using it as much as possible to get my use out of it.

If its a car you plan on keeping for yourself till it dies thats one thing but for resale and trade ins they are a bad deal

I've only had one R-title car, and I had what I thought was really good luck at resale time. It was an '87 GT convertible - charcoal gray with the gray leather, 5-speed, black top. It looked sweet because the guy repainted it all charcoal - ground effects too - so it looked like the 90+ fox cars. It had 80k on it ( this is back in '98? ), and I paid $6500. I drove it for 3 years and put 22k miles on it and sold it, at 105k miles, R-title and all, for $5,600. Not sure if I got lucky there or not, but I felt pretty good about it. So - PSPstang - maybe you'll do ok when the time comes to sell - in the meantime, just have fun with the car!!:)

I feel like a lot of you folks - I'd rather get a nice car for less because of the R-title. If it's fixed right and it's going to be my driver I would actually look for another R car next time vs a clean title car for a bunch more $$$. I'm not a collector, so the title doesn't really concern me. My Mustangs might appreciate in value, but that's just gravy for me - I own them to enjoy them!!

what are some factory specs for the 93 cobra...hp, tq, 1/4 times???
