    what axels do I have?

I have a 95 Gt and I'm puting a set of 373's and a locker in, my only hold up is my new carrier takes 31 spline axels and I don't know if I have the 31 or 28 spline axels. Would any one know how to tell with out taking it apart. If I have the 28 spline axels my car will be on the lift while I order the new ones. Thank You 955.0

As Lou said, the stock ones are 28 spline. If you are going to buy a set of 31 spline, I HIGHLY suggest staying away from Strange SS axles (I bent a set after 3 passes, my dad bent his, as did our buddy Mike who used to post on here). We all switched to Superior 31 spline axles and none of us have had any issues, and our 60's are in the low 1.6-high 1.5's. They are warrentied for 5yrs too.

They are $250 a pair straight from Mosers website. I think I've convinced Tony to get a pair for his 8.8 when he gets it.
