congrats john on those numbers and getting the car back soon
PJ, the car is done with the exception of a front end alignment, I should have the car by the weekend as long as we don't get washed away with all the rain .

That was on a dynojet, the dyno is in Ohio and it's not a shop, it's privately owned. What kind of ride does your buddy have? I would be interested in running him for sure, whens he coming in?

He has a EVO as well, Its a full built 2.3 motor with a fairly large GT37R turbo on it. He did some new fuel setup and should be high 600whp range on a mustang dyno.

I think he will be in town this weekend, I will try to see if he wants to and or has time to come out and play.

He lives in atlanta and is comin home with his car being that it is at Buschur Racing in ohio. Will let ya know if he can make it happen would be fun to watch and film

Sounds pretty mean for sure, shoot me a PM when he comes in and we'll see what happens. I'm hopping to have my car by the end of the week depending on the weather, if not I'll be picking it up sometime over the weekend

Nice numbers, even better to see you making power at a decent RPM. It's pretty darn quiet for that kinda power. Are you running mufflers?

If you notice the mufflers are laying on the ground in the vid:D , so it had no muflers or cats on .

That lip for the weather strip hurt my bum. John be warned that Evo's are FAST! AWD helps that alot on the street. Anyway, there is an evo in Akron that will smoke ALOT of cars on pump gas. There is also some amc's that are looking for a race down there so if anyone reading this is looking for a race, pm me and I'll make it happen. Be nice to see a Ford beat those damn amc's that have been king of the street for some time.

I know them evo's are fast, my biggest problem will be traction on the streets. I also got to learn how to drive this car compared to what it was like before. I heard all about those amc's and don't know if any cars down this way would give them a run, but you never know.

If traction is your problem, throw a box of hoho's in that trunk and this lil trunk monkey will solve your traction woes

Actually it made 713 rwhp and 773 rwtq at 4800rpm's, and we dont think the rails were the problem (initially we did). We believe it began to blow the spark out as air/fuel stayed fine and we pulled the plugs after the run and there were no signs of detonation. We were tempted to close the plug gap way down and make another pull but due to the stock rails and ignition figured we better back the boost down a little and keep it safe. Which is how we ended up at 20psi 670rwhp 700rwtq. Congrats John can't wait till you hit the street with her!!!
