Moon Twp Fire Dept Cruise 9/9/2007 - HUGE!!

Hi folks. You might already know about this, but it's about the biggest cruise / show this side of Woodward Avenue. It is on Sunday, September 9th ( Steelers are AWAY that day ) and is held in Moon Park, which is 5 minutes from the old Greater Pgh Airport. It's free, and there are TONS of cars and a burnout pit area for those who want to buy new tires the next day...

    Here's the link...

    http://www.carcruises.com/cruise_detail.asp?eid=10032

I'll be there in my '66, probably next to Dad in his gold '63 R2 Avanti 4-speed. Stop by and say hi if you make it to the show!
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

I've seen your Dad's Avanti there religiously for AT LEAST the past 6 years. Great looking car and a great car show! I'll be there!

Thanks SV!! Dad's car really is nice. It has been back on the road for 6 years or so, so you're probably right on that. Charlie Baranowsky ( on Stoops Ferry Road in Moon ) did the frame-off restoration - he's a wizard with Studebakers and everything else too. You just GOTTA love a muscle car with a factory Paxton and a 4-speed!!!!!!

What car are you bringing to the show? I'll keep my eyes open for ya...

dependent upon the weather.....tghe old lady and I will either be on the bike or driving the 06 GT. Can't miss either of your cars so I'll be sure to stop by.

anyone from SCS wanting to go to the show should meet up for breakfast or something and then head out to the show as a group...everyone knows where Colin lives, we can meet up at his place (and drink his beer)...tailgating at the car show anyone?

on a serious note it really is a great show....if anyone else comes don't forget a spare set of tires!

Question is, will Colin be too hung over to make the Bacon & Eggs?

Ton of cars, beer, fried food, and burn outs. Besides women, what else could you ask for!

Nice burnout and launch in front of the house last night...looked like roughly a 1.5 60ft time! You should run the notch at the track when you have a few beers in you...you'll probably break into the 12's
