I am gettin my new cd player today so i was wondering do i have to take out that whole panel above the shifter or does can the cd player slide in and out?

depends on if previous owner pushed the little security tabs up to prevent stealing it. it's not hard to just pull out the center panel and remove it then just install the new one while it's out.
if you wanna stop out my way i will help ya change it out.

got it in.. everything works on it, but no sound from the speakers.. I checked all my fuses that have to do with the radio and its good, checked all my connections and they are all good.. any ideas?
