    94 door panel speaker grilles????

    Hey Guys,

On the 94 is the plastic speaker grille part of the entire door panel, or can it be removed by itself to access the speakers?

Also, what is the best location to ground a 500 watt amp in the trunk of a vert.? Preferably close to the 2 Mach 460 amps.

    Thanks

    Jim

Correct. Best spot to ground is one of the rear seat belt bolts.

Yup...that is the only place I can ground an amp and not hear noise from an MSD box through my speakers.

    Thumbs up

    Thanks,

I was pretty certain the door panels were all one piece. Didn't get a lot of Stangs at a Lincoln/Mercury dealer. Will probably work on the door speakers next. Got the amp and a single 10 inch sub in. And didn't kill my entire trunk, sounds pretty good even with the roof down. It helps that my stereo has seperate high & low pass filters, so even though I'm still using all the factory amps & speakers, I could allow the sub to put out the majority of the bass.

    Thanks again,

    Jim

There is 1 christmas tree clip at the bottom of the front of the door panel and a couple screws behind the plastic that holds the window and door lock switches. Once you get those out, it should lift straight up and off of the door.
