    Congrats Paul,

I told you the swap to the AEM would be worth the effort. I think the logging alone is worth the swap. Once you have the logs you wonder how you ever tuned with the EEC_tuner! We were shooting in the dark. The logs can contain a wealth of useful data for analysis. If you are logging the VSS you can see wheel spin, clutch slippage, your shifts, etc... When you add the hair dryer you'll be able to monitor intake air temperatures throughout the run too.

Sorry you had to fight through the ignition issues from the beginning. It looks like you've put that behind you.

The learning curve is steep on things like idle. I find AFR & the fuel maps far easier.

Mikey spent 1-1/2 hours trying to take the hunt out if my idle tonight. It was cool to finally fire the 363 for the first time. I couldn't have done it without his help.

As for Ed Curtis, once he gets to know you, he's great to deal with. He's gone out of his way to help me a couple times. I did not find the same to be true for Jay Allen. Count me as an FTI fan too.

I met you there Wednsday. I had the silver 00 GT mustang with the Vortech. Despite the heat I had my best trap that night.

Congrats Paul!!! Great to see you hitting it again. Car's gonna be sick with some more tinkering and a full on drag set up.

I have more videos around here somewhere Ernan. I've only been to the track three times this year, and I've only been able to match my 12.2 at 115.6mph pass but not beat it yet. I had hopes of breaking into the 11's before winter, but I think I'm done racing. I really wanted to run at cecil as I fell pretty confident that it'd trap ~117mph there and time wise I'd be VERY close to the 11's as the car sits right now. Unfortunately, without a roll bar I can't run there and I don't have the time nor the money to get one put in right now.

Mike, I think my drag racing days are about over. I just don't enjoy it like I once used to. I've tried my hand at autocrossing and I'm in love, its so much more fun for me than drag racing, and its easier on the car too. On my last trip to the drag strip my clutch was slipping on the launch which sealed the deal for me not wanting to keep doing it. I may change my tune on this whole situation, but at the moment my focus is definitely shifting away from drag racing. Unfortunately my '95 is not setup to be a cone killer, so i think I'm going to start working on getting my '90GT up and running and focus on setting it up for autocrossing. Time will tell...

I hear ya Paul. I tried the autocross stuff once and it was fun. The strip is way harder on your car but hey look at it this way, if it wasn't for drag racing you wouldn't have your current set up (at least not by this time) lol.

LOL! Very true Mike! I think I have a definite fear of breaking things now on my car when drag racing which we all know is not the attitude to have if you plan on running your best. My dad has about had it too with drag racing as he has been plagued by problems too.

Ernan, if it wasn't so expensive I'd absolutely get into road racing. I may end up there someday but I have to definitely work on my driving skills first and autocrossing is the best way to do it. I was recently at Beaver Run and it sealed the deal for me that this is the direction I now want to head with this hobby. I LOVED the road course, but I have a lot of learning to do yet before I attempt it in my own car in a true racing environment.

Well for autoX you dont need car with a lot of horses, just car with small wheelbase, my buddy have older 92 Miata thats is realy good on autoX and he gets good times even with stock motor that have 116HP to the flywheel but you already know this stuff

I'm pretty good in cornering but when i came to USA i kinda quit and start doing what Americans doing Drag racing but i still love my rootsI even was thinkin about bringing my BMW from Europe here to US but it will cost me $3-4K to bring it here and get vin # and all paper works plus it will sux because car runs on 98 octane (fuel that cars in Europe are mostly 95-98 octane)

I went OT sorry about this
