    351W Build

For those who know what my future plans are for my motor, I might be making a little twist.

Originally, I planned on building a 347 stroker from a 302 block. A friend of mine might be getting a 1968 fairlane (or galaxie) that has a 351W. He will give me the motor, he only wants to strip the car and sell the parts.

So I was doing some research and it won't cost any more to buid a 351W stroker, so if I end up getting this motor I will be putting in a 351W stroker, which will be a 392 CID

Other than a few things that I know I will need to get, I should have pretty much everything to build this 351W.

Let me hear some opinons on this. I would appreciate some input
Edelbrock Performer Heads, BBK Ceramic Long Tube Headers, BBK O/R H-Pipe, BBK Cold Air Intake, BBK Strut Tower Brace, Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back, FRPP King Cobra Clutch, FRPP 3.73 Gears, FRPP Chrome Cobra Upper/Lower Intake, FRPP Chrome Polished Valve Covers, Chrome Alternator, Ford B303 Cam, Holley Fuel Pressure Regulator, 70mm Edelbrock TB, 75mm Pro-M MAF, #24 Ford Injectors, Crane 1.7 Rockers

Yep, I know I'll need new headers and a lower intake. The upper cobra intake will work.

Also will need a front dress bracket, new raised hood and oil pan

Go to Cam99s house and look at the car he bought off of me. It is what your car will be.

I might just do that. I would like to see/hear what it will potentially be.

    What are the specs?

Here's a link to the ad for it. It has all the specs and some pics. It is an absolutely wicked car.

Right. A common route to a 392.87 (393 cid) is to use a 4.03" piston with 3.85" of stroke.
