I just got out of the hospital yesterday 8-29-07. I was in there since saturday....and so the story goes. I was feeling a little run down the past couple of weeks and I just thought i would call the Dr. and have some blood work done. I had it done on friday, and the very next day the Dr.'s office calls and says i need to get the the E.R. as soon as possible that my blood count is Dangerously low! it is sopposed to be 12 to 14. and mine was 6. I got to the hospital and over the 5 days i was in there they ran tests, gave me 2 units of blood. they found out i had a couple of ulcers and crohn's disease. Crohns is a hereditary disease of the small intestine that makes it inflamed, and these things was why i was slowly bleeding to death. So now i'm on 5 different meds to clear this crap up. This really sucks i'm only 22!!
Just thought I would share my exciting weekend, i'm home and feeling much better now.
