Plus, to add to all this, last week was the "end of the cycle" there or something to that effect, so he didnt get any time in the shop last week and isnt gonna get any time in the shop this week b/c its the beginning of the new cycle... so its basically sat for the last two weeks... no big deal really... i know i'm at the mercy of the wyotech schedule right now, so theres nothing i can do about it... He tells me he's going to attempt to get some work done on it this weekend ... However, the fuel system isnt the only problem... apparently the small leak on the passenger header is now a large leak, and he wants to get that fixed before we do any more tuning...
o ok, but i would of thought the fuel woudl of been fixed in a matter of days but best of luck

well, everything from the tank to the y-block was fixed... including new lines, competely re-wired the harness, opened up the basket and put the pump filters on.... But when that was all done and in the car (walbro took over a week to get the filters to him and he had them express shipped) the car was still loosing pressure... so the line after the y-block and all those fittings need to be replaced as well and the FPR needs to be verified that its working correctly... those are teh only two things left... Like i said tho, the exhaust leak was found when he test drove it, so until that is torn apart and fixed, she's still in blairsville... he's doing everythign he possibly can with the time he is given in the shop

so it wasnt the pumps? so you spent more money on parts that werent causing you the issue? so after all thsi drama on the net it could possibly a bad regulator? who would of thought

Actually, no it wasn't the pumps, but they werent replaced... he checked them to be sure that they were working/flowing correctly and they were.... the only money i spent was to have the lines press-fit, since it was obvious that they were built incorrectly... the work/labor that's being done is being done for free, as he's using it almost as a class instructional

and he told me that rarely if ever do FPR's go bad, so he highly doubts thats it... but i guess we'll see whenever he gets around to testing it

you sound like you're trying to doubt who is working on the stuff...

no just wondering what is wrong with the car. regulators do go bad!!! my notch had a bad one. i have no idea on who is working on the car nor care but would hate to see more money spent on something that wasnt needed cause someone thought it needed replaced. and i want to see numbers and times of thsi money pit lol [jk]

umm.... ok, that's a real dickhead comment.....

not my fault its not ready to step up to the plate.. its the guy who built it... should have never been built incorrectly in the first place

no extra money other than exactly what is needed will be spent... .he's being sure to test everything before he replaces anything... like i said, the pumps were not replaced... but it was apparent that the lines needed replaced nonetheless... so its coming... slowly, but surely

Best race yet. Ran a 05 CRB1000 with a pipe, sprocket, filter, and power commander.
