i'd get receipts for this 2k tranny, could be a hopped up tranny but an 88's came with a 5speed

tremec tranny guy says is worth 2k says it is a 88 mustang w/ 4-speed. anybody know anything about them. manual tranny.??
If it's a Tremec, it will likely be a 5 or 6 speed unless it's a trick 6 speed that's had 5th and 6th gears removed to now make it a 4 speed. To me it sounds like this guy is blowing smoke up your ass and doesn't have a clue.
If its a built tremec...Dogringed/pro-shift. They may have removed 5th gear. So just because they say its a tremec doesn't mean it has all 5 or 6 gears. I would ask whoever They is more questions.
