    1990 stang on Autotrader

Does anyone know the owner of this car? It looks pretty nice, I just wanted to check and see if anyone on here knows the owner.

I thought the price was pretty high too... but the car does look pretty clean. Which is hard to find in a fox around here.

I agree the price seems a little high. Im sure you could talk him down. Car looks in pretty good shape. Dont see many that are that well kept anymore.

Car looks really good, needs more close-ups of the body & paint. Just because the odometer reads 88000 miles doesn't mean the body hasn't seen 188000, it clearly has a fresh motor as mentioned. The entire interior has be replaced. All 4 seat are new, as well as the carpet & mats. The door panels, seat side panels, & seat belts are not the factory grey that the dash/center console is. I don't think that particular tan color was a Ford color on that year. Between that, the motor, wheels, front bumper & paint, the price is exagerated a bit. As far as under-carriage, it all depends on where the car came from. Could be as solid as my '90 was, even at 255,000 miles. But it was only driven here for a few months. I'm kinda thinking very deep water at some point. Will most likely be avail. for a while at that price.

At least to get it in the ballpark. Maybe there is a disclaimer in the ad, we all overlooked that states an " instant rebate" for qualified buyers.

I agree it is a little high but you aren't building it for that and that doesn't count all the countless hours of labor it took to build it.The car has custom interior and a freshly built motor and nice paint. If the car is rust free and accident free it would be worth a try to get him to 7k or so,but I doubt he would
    88 GT...and some boost

I do agree, there is probably a lot more about the car that we don't know. Without additional info the price does seem high. But it could all be documented & justified. It would depend on on where & how well, all the work was done too. Labor alone would be a pretty good $$$ for all that is listed. And does appear to have been done properly. So I'm sure we'll see what ends up happening. It may come down somewhat in the next few weeks. It certainly isn't impossible to find the right person, looking for a very specific car. This could be the case and the price may not change too drastically.
