In car video from Sunday's CPR autocross

Here's the in car video of my runs at the autocross in Phillipsburg on sunday. I know I need a lot of work after watching the videos, but that's the fun part of it. I missed the 1st video where Steve (Jethro on here) rode with me, and my photobucket account only let me load 5 minutes of video, so my last and best run is cut short about 1/2 way through the run. This was the first in car video I've ever made, next time I'll be sure to do something about the wind noise. Enjoy!

BTW- I hope to get some in car footage tomorrow night at the dragstrip too!!! We'll see just how well my dad and I made this camera mount! LOL!

Thanks Rob! I attempted to downshift to 1st exiting a few of the tight corners on my first run, but all that did was show everyone that I have a rev limiter in the car! LOL! After that, and per Steve's recommendation, I just left it in 2nd the entire time, luckily it had enough grunt that I didn't need to down shift.

Thanks Steiny! I have it in full drag race form right now with the skinnies all bolted up, hopefully tomorrow I'll see what this thing can do at the 1/4 mile track.

Here's my 5th and best run I had all day. This is the run that was cut short in the above video.

Nice, but I think that course needs a few straightaways to make it better. Sure that looks like fun, but any form of racing needs to have some gear changes involved.

For the troubles I've been having getting my car into 2nd gear, I was glad there were no gear changes that day!!! :)

I Even Kept The Svo In Second But It Bogged Real Bad A Couple Of Corners.

Tried that. As soon as you go back down to first you blow the tires off and end up going right back to second. sometimes with a little more open course you can get to third, but once again its only for a second or two. Second is pefect for being able to keep traction off the corners even with r compound tires.
