been real REAL busy so the movie collecting had to take a backseat while I worked on the new addition and she is a runner!

04snake barked back to life yesterday after having the tank down for over a month plumbing in 100% braided fat line and CPR rails!
Nothing like hearing your baby talk to you thru open headers when you have been jonesing for the scream for too long! :)

yanked the swaybar out of the SS tonight, tomorrow 4.10's go in. they say I will blow the 10 bolt, I'm hoping I can nurse it a while.

Everyone I know that put 4.10's in those cars blew the rearend apart.

a budyd or mine had 410s in his and i launched at 5k pulling wheel and then 6500 and it held up. plus plenty of beatings from the owner himself

mater had a 5k launch also with 456s and held up

well we are doing a few tricks to try to prolong it's life but I'm not investing anything beyond a cover and some extra hardware. I should start a pool, but I am also welding a winch on my trailer so I don't care as long as I don't wreck the car.

The first few passes will be with soft launches while i finish tuning the car, the stock hydraulic clutch will need to last a bit longer, so the rearend will get a pass too. I need some datalogged passes to find some HP, 5K launches can wait a bit longer.

Even with a 3K moderate launch I really think I can do 12's, but I had to settle for two 13.oH's this time out. The problem was the driver and crew chief (ME), not the car. I was trying to get the right combo of DR tire pressure, air bag pressure and burnout time but I needed more than 3 passes. I think 1.8 60fts will be possible, once I get back into the routine and figure out what the car wants. It is a lot of fun to drive, maybe not as fast as the money pit, but still fun!

SLP Lid w/new K&N, SLP bellows, 160Tstat, fresh Royal Purple Syncromesh & Redline 10-30, Jegs 4.10's, T/A bolt-thru 10 bolt Diff cover, Front sway bar removed, Poly Trani-mount, Spohn Cromoly tunnel braced TA w/Loop (-2* angle), Cromoly SFC's, Spohn Cromoly LCA's, Spohn Cromoly PHB, OEM Concepts 11" ZR1 chrommies, Nitto 315 DR's w/(17-18lbs), AirLift Drag Pack air bags (22lbsL/28lbsR), HP Tuners money tune by mE w/13.0AFR and 28.5* timing, LM-1 WB (temp setup) and I ran 96-97 octane Torco mixed Sunoco Unleaded.

here is what my AFR looks like now after one last 0.5% correction to the MAF transfer table after looking at the track logs. One last verification at the track, the place I fine tune for and the LM-1 comes back off for the Cobra. This 4th gear highway pull is not smoothed, unlike all those Dyno AFR plots that you are used to seeing. ON THE MONEY!

long enough for a truck, you can't see it but I added a custom winch setup with a slave battery box all welded and painted to match, very trick if you ask me and looks like it came from the factory like that.

yeah, the flames were my idea, right :flipoff:

Just pretend the flames are not there, when and IF I flame a car it will be 10 coats of clear coat Ghost flames that will be the real deal, not some ricers wet dream! Silly me, I have been more worried about getting to the track for the last couple weeks, I got all winter to take those MF's off. If it was easy I would have already done it, the guy who did them painted down the tips with clear coat so between the adhesive and buffing the clear bumps off I will spend 10 times as much time taking them off as the putz did putting them on.

but that's OK, take your shots, the other guys in Pro ET had their fun too, no problem, I just rate "appearance mods" a lot lower priority than mechanical mods, but that is just me. ;)
