Thread: airbrush on intake will it wear off?

    Cool airbrush on intake will it wear off?

    ok looking to get the p51 intake manifold for my 01 i was thinking about getting some airbrushing done on the top of it. my question is will the designs etc wear off due to heat?

    I will double check with Kurt, but I think I read that there is a treatment that you can do that it will be ok. might just be a special top coat, but I'll double check.

    I've had 0 problems with my valve cover due to heat and it sits right next to a tubular turbo manifold.

    I use house of kolor paint and Eastwood premier clearcoat. The valve cover has been powdercoated but that doesn't really make it any different than primer.
