Cleaning suede?

What are you guys using to keep your Cobra seats clean? I have leather cleaners for my past cars but this is my first car with the suede inserts and I don't want to stain them or mess them up in any way. Just thought I would get some opinions.

A brush. That's how I clean my Converses. Just dry cleaning. If you get it wet, it'll harden. You can also find these special kinda sponges to clean and restore suede.

i have a heavy commercial grade citrus cleaner that i use for interior and exterior cleaning. takes off bug/tar as well as interior grease stains etc...works like a charm!

There's an cleaner called "Tuff Stuff" that I have always used on interiors and it works great! I know most Auto Parts Stores carry it as does Wal-Mart. It's in a yellow and red aerosol can.

Alcantara Care

Elegant, sophisticated, costly and available in an extremely wide range of colours and shades, that is Alcantara. Here, DRAENERT offers the full collection of colours. It is as durable as it is elegant and retains its outstanding qualities, such as its colour and its softness. Alcantara‚ is made of ultramicrofibres which lend it its softness and brilliance. They make it breathable, anti-static and far lighter than many other microfibre materials. Alcantara‚ is an exceedingly easy-care upholstery material. Soap and water or a natural detergent usually suffice to remove stains on non-removable covers and to leave covers looking like new. Afterwards, simply treat the surface with a soft brush to retain its brilliance. Avoid contact with solvents or direct contact with hot steam.

General care instructions

First of all, carefully remove coarse soiling with a knife or a spoon.
Remove stains immediately working from the outside in to avoid forming rings.
Different types of stains are to be treated according to the tips given in the table (see below).
Any detergent remains should be rinsed out with clean water.
Pressure and hard rubbing are to be avoided at all costs to prevent damage to the surface texture.

Table for removing stains

Type of stain Treatment Beer, egg, milk, cream Treat with a neutral soap solution, rinse thoroughly. Blood Treat with a neutral soap solution, rinse thoroughly. Fruit juice, fruit, vegetables, ketchup, jam, gelatine, syrup, coffee, tea Wash with a neutral soap solution. Coloured stains Should be treated with citric acid. Rinse out thoroughly. Cocoa, chocolate Lather well with a neutral soap solution and rinse out. Chewing gum Treat with ethyl alcohol then remove mechanically with care. Ballpoint pen, marker Dissolve with ethyl alcohol, dab, then treat with a neutral soap solution and rinse out thoroughly Lipstick, shoe polish, oil, grease Dissolve with ethyl alcohol, dab, then treat with a neutral soap solution and rinse out thoroughly. Mustard, wine, liqueurs Wash with a neutral soap solution. Then treat with citric acid and rinse out thoroughly.

Important! Test all cleaning agents on a hidden spot to ensure that neither the material nor the colour will be damaged.

I've used that stuff on carpets and I agree it works really well!

I have a seat cover on mine...it may look goofy but it protects my seat.

So this is the same stuff I had in my Subaru STI with the blue seats. Thats funny. Hell I can clean it with anything then. (To a point) I was under the impression that it was suede and we all know what a pain in the butt it is to keep clean. Thanks again for the input.

I just used a damp cloth and rubbed in small circular patterns and they are good as new.
