Biggest Tires on Saleen 18x9's?

Hey guys.. i need to get new rubber for the rears... I have a 275-35-18 right now.. but im thinkin maybe 295-40/35????

anyone have an opinion

275 cross width tires fit real nice on a 9" wide wheel. I wouldn't put a wider tire on there.

Is the 275/35/18 the stock rear tire size? If not, what is/was the stock size?
If you go wider than 275 on the 9" wheel, you're handling will suffer a bit due to the overall height of the tire being more (car will sit 1/2" higher) as well as alot more sidewall sticking out beyond the wheel rim. I would recommend sticking with the 275 unless you plan on upgrading to a wider wheel....once again, not knowing the stock size.

275/35/18 (60mph on speedo will actually be 59.7) would be my recommendation however a 285/35/18 will fit (60mph on speedo will actually be 60.5).
275/35/18 is a nicer fit on the wheel overall. 295 is just too wide for a 9inch wheel.
