It turns out my dad got a hold of the previous owner of the Mustang. Found out a lot of information about it. The biggest news is that the Mustang was dynoed at 487 RWHP.
There was a 3-way switch in the glove box. Forward activates the Diablo tune, so I'm leaving it there. The supercharger was installed when there was 4,000 miles on the car; it has 77,000 now. The only thing untouched on the motor are the heads; they were just ported. So maybe I'll install oversized valves in a future rebuild. He confirmed the 42# injectors and all the mods I previously listed when I joined here.
He traded it in for a black/silver GT500, and wasn't happy; the GT500 stock is slower than my car. So he had 4,30's and a CAI installed and was still kinda up in the air as he tried to compare it to his old 98. Turns out he tried to buy it back at $8000 and didn't get it.
I'm hoping I'll meet him in person. Seems like a hell of a nice guy.
