    Guess my dyno HP

I am having my car dyno’d for the very first time next Friday. I will get 40 minutes of dyno time which comes out to about 8-10 pulls. Take a guess at my dyno RWHP (if nobody guesses the exact number, then closest wins). The dyno number I will use will be from the very 1st pull.

Here are current mods: (*note some of these mods may or may not increase HP, I am just listing everything just in case).

    BBK Long Tube Ceramic Headers
BBK H-pipe with hi flow cats
    Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back
    BBK Cold Air Intake
    BBK 255lhp Fuel Pump
    FRRP 3.73 Gears
Ford Cobra Upper and Lower Intake (not ported)
    Stock heads
    Stock Throttle Body
    Stock MAF
    Stock 19lb Injectors
    Stock timing chain

Factory stock 1993 LX Convertible = 205 HP (at the crank). I am not sure what the RWHP would be, but I would guess around 175 HP
Edelbrock Performer Heads, BBK Ceramic Long Tube Headers, BBK O/R H-Pipe, BBK Cold Air Intake, BBK Strut Tower Brace, Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back, FRPP King Cobra Clutch, FRPP 3.73 Gears, FRPP Chrome Cobra Upper/Lower Intake, FRPP Chrome Polished Valve Covers, Chrome Alternator, Ford B303 Cam, Holley Fuel Pressure Regulator, 70mm Edelbrock TB, 75mm Pro-M MAF, #24 Ford Injectors, Crane 1.7 Rockers

I thought the stock crank HP should be 225. My guess will be 172 RWHP.

I can't begin to guess as to why on earth you would want to try and do 8-10 pulls in 40 min. unless you are just trying to see how heat soaked you can get the engine.

Not sure if I will get 8-10 pulls in. I'd be happy with 2 or 3 for a baseline.

1993 (not sure of other years) they lowered the HP rating to 205

    Quoted from this site: http://mustangforums.com/timeline/1993-ford-mustang/

"The Mustang's horsepower was lower in 1993 than in the rest of the preceding '90s, which really had more to do with how Ford began measuring horsepower rather than an actual reduction in horsepower. In fact, the 1990-93 5.0 LX Mustangs all had the same horsepower. The public had a difficult time understanding this, but there were really no changes made. There were some other small changes made to the engine from 1987-1990 that were never measured in the horsepower so this, too, made up for part of the misconception regarding the change in Mustang's horsepower for 1993."

Dynojet or Mustang Dyno? I may have to reconsider my guess if it's a Mustang Dyno.

Are you going to ASAP for the dyno? If so, under NO circumstances should you let anyone there make any kind of tuning adjustments to your car!

I dyno'd 188rwhp WAY BACK with similar mods at ASAP on their mustangdyno, but those knuckle heads dyno'd it in 3rd gear. With a dynojet, RWHP can vary a lot by the parameters and load they set on it. On a dynojet, I'd expect you to put down somewhere around 225-235rwhp if the tune is correct, on a mustangdyno I'll guess 198rwhp.
