im looking to buy a lightning a 2001 with 75,000 miles new rear tires and front barkes with a hard bed cover do you think $14,000 is a good price and is this the good engine

Actually I think he was refering to what year in the 99-04 Lightnings had the better engine, and yes, the 01-04 had the better engines from the factory.
