I got to run a VERY beautiful red late 60's early 70's Mach 1 goin past butchkos on 119 this past sunday. We kinda got the light he was a little bit behind me. The light turned green but we never got to come to stop. Then I heard him punch it. it was some older guy and his wife I didnt think he was going to try it LOL. So buy the time i get on the gas hes already a little ahead of me. then i miss 3rd!! and he was about a car length ahead. but when i found 3rd that gap quickly closed i got up beside him and he had to hit brakes due to a car in front of him. So i keep going but i slow down a bit he came around the car and got real close, i thought he was going to try and swing around me, so i put my car back in 3rd and ran off from him , HAHAHA. then he turned off at the speedy meedys across from the fairgrounds.

There is a bright red s-code running around 390 with Edelbrock Prefomer RPM heads and intake, he is also in my Galaxie club. The car went mid 12s. Wonder if that was the car?

I dont think, my best time was 13.83 @ 102. but i was full weight with street tires. I highy dout my car will do mid 12's. without a power adder of some sort.
