    Need some stud/axle help

Well here is the problem.. Three of the holes in my axles are stripped out. When i switched my tires they were really loose and i thought maybe it was just the stud so i got three new studs put them in and still the same thing. These wiggle so bad that it loosens my lug nuts to the point every time before i drive i have to tighten them up. So what should i do? Should i tack weld the three loose ones? Put some good ole JB weld? or what should i do?

I don't think it is supposed to be threaded in the 1st place. The studs should press in.

I wouldn't put my life on the line, get a new or used replacement axle. All gt v6 and cobras from 94 - 98 are the same.

Did you use the wrong diameter stud?

    just been thru this...

Moser axles studs are nothing more than grade 8 1/2 inch bolts that thread in from behind...

The only thing you can do at this point is send the axles back and have them upgraded to 5/8" studs...

trust me you don't want to JB weld them in... it isn't fun spinning down the 1/4 mile!!!

Are the Mosers actually threaded for screw in studs or just smooth holes for press in studs? I use Moser 31 spline axles with Moroso 3" studs. Need .625" knurl for the press in studs.

As for the JBweld....umm just back away slowly and put the lil tubes down.
