    Injector Questions

Does anyone know what the part number for the actual 93 cobra 24# injectors?

Also, if I am able to find these will they work in my car with a regular stock computer or do I need to get a 93 cobra computer as well?

And, do I need a specific 76mm MAF for the cobra, or any 76mm MAF that is calibrated for 24# injectors?

    Thanks for your help.

As long as you get a Mass Air Meter calibrated for 24# injectors, they will work fine with your computer. I would suggest that if you're upgrading injectors, to just get the 30#'s instead of the 24#'s though if looking to build something in the 350-400 rwhp range.

30# will be overkill and not necessary for what I am doing at the moment. They will be needed later down the road when the stroker is finished.

So just put them in now. Your car has a return style fuel system and you can control the 30#'s by not runing as much fuel pressure. Why buy parts twice and have to deal with recalibrating your Mass Air Meter?

Becuase I am building a totally seperate stroker motor and will sell the old/current motor as a full complete motor.

Then put the stock ones in when you sell the motor. Keep the 30's for the new one.

Or do like the rest of the world does and don't include injectors with the old one when you sell it.

Depending on what you build, 24'smight not be enough. There is a thing called a duty cycle thet the injectors run at. Naturally, a bigger motor will require more fuel. More fuel that a 24 pounder might not be able to support. I went with 44's in mine. Cant take chances. Thats why they sell Fuel pressure regulators. You can send the un-used fuel back to the tank. Be sure you get a good pump too. Mine was $170. Get one that will support what your plans are. More is sometimes better and in this case, it is. Detonation is a motherphucker.

Thanks Rob. Yep, the fuel pump is already taken care of. Mine went out last year, so I dropped the tank and put in a 255lph (I did it myself.... )

I will be getting a fuel pressure regulator as well and will think about getting the 30#'s
