    ? about supercharger

the other day i bought a s-trim with brackets, all pipeing, fmu, pully, and belt. im trying to figure out what else i need. i was planning on putting 42# injectors with 80 mm maf with no fmu and a good tune. would this be the best route to go? my mods are as follows incase anyone wants to know.

stock bottom end 306 with kb pistons
    tfs twisted wedge heads
    1.6 scorpian rockers
    tfs 2 cam
    tfs lifters
    ported edelbrock performer intake
    24# injectors
    73mm c&l maf
    70mm tb
    under drives
hooker longtubes with straight pipes and flows
    msd distibuter,6al,coil
    a9l
    4.10s
cant leave out the junk t5 that hates to be shifted fast

this is a full weight car with no mods to chassis and it went 12.1x at 110 at prp. another question i have is...the guy thats going to tune my car once the blower is put on said that i can get an engine harness and ecu from a 96-98 v8 explorer and change it from obd1 to obd2. anyone heard of this? he said this way i wont have to get a chip burned and he can just tune it through the computer.

I have a very similar setup. i run 42# injectors and a SCT B4200 MAF. also i have a 255lph intank pump and a vortech T-rex inline pump. stock lines and rails.

i made 448rwhp on a mustang dyno with a street pump gas tune. I tuned at CRT performance. www.crt-performance.com and got a custom 4 tune superchip with flip switch,

Unless those KB pistons are forged, dont try it.

I would reccomend getting one and you are doing the right thing by ditching the FMU.
