I had some time to go get some pics of the '66 cast grill this morning. Guy lives about 10 miles from me, and is not an internet user. So, I am posting them up for you. I was hoping the setup would be a tad nicer, but it looks to be un-cracked and the chrome looks to be polishable. He had taken it all apart to get it cleaned and polished, but never did. The latch mechanism is rusty, but does operate. The lenses that are there are in need of replacement, IMO... guy says they are available from someone (he saw in Hemmings Motor News... Greenlee ??).
Anyway, there ya go. If interested, make your offer and I will get back with him. The thing is not so heavy, but is about 58" long, which usually affects shipping $$ a bit.

He had said a couple months ago he was asking $100 for this stuff, plus shipping. So, see what you can find out, and if you wish, make an offer and I will get back with him.

LOL ! You forget, I used to have an ole Galaxie, and I know how hard these kinda things are to find ! I actually did put one of those cast '66 7-Litre grills in my '65 Galaxie, and I loved the look.
