    Wheel spacer help!!!

I tried doing a test mount of my new Welds today. The rears fit fine but the fronts are going to need a spacer. The fronts are 15 X 3.5 and im not sure of the backspacing. I need these to fit stock 94GT brakes. Anybody know what size spacer im going to need?

I have a set of spacers I got for my Cobra that I never put on yet. I think they're like 1", but I can bring them with me tomorrow night to use as a gauge to get a better idea of how thick you'd need.

This is a common proble. Check the corral or stangnet and I'm sure you'll find the answer. Please don't cut the caliper bracket in half like some have done to get the added clearance though.

No im not going to cut it but im prob going to have to grind it a little bit. Most guys i saw were using a 5/16 and a little grinding.

Well a 5/16 spacer and ALOT of grinding did the job. Its realyl close and i see why alot of guys cut that pice of the caliper off completely. Not much left.

The wheels look awsome. Ill post up some pics tomorrow.

Not to knock anyone using spacers but they are dangerous to use, just think about the amount of stress your putting on those front wheels especially if your drag racin the car. Suspension unloads then hammers down on skinnies. Its cheaper but not the smartest way to fit those wheels.
I dont care if it circles the world 11 times in 1 second. If its front wheel drive, its worthless.
