im sure it would be a hell of a lot louder, x is always raspier an higher pitched than a h-pipe, i always go on you tube or street fire an look for people with the exhaust set up similar to mine an then get a feel. im kinda in the same boat but alot diffrent as im going from shorty headers an an xpipe with cats to longtubes an an xpipe w/no cats. are you going for louder? if you are i think it would be a good move
i have a mac 1 3/4lts with a 3in pro chamber to 3in 1chamber race mufflers and love it. i wouldnt change it for nothing
I went from being loud with an off road prochamber, to being downright obnoxious with an off road X
smallville, mineralrob, and slow01gt can vouch for this lol.
It will be way louder and you won't gain power at all. Do it for sound only, if that is what you are looking for.
