    This guy can shift!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KhPcDMGRxw

I am a 27 year old truck driver, and i have been told the story about shifting old trucks with both hands, putting one down through the steering wheel. Kinda just blew it off as i thought, no way. Well i was looking at an old b-61 mack with a quad box transmission couple weeks back. So i decided to look it up on the net. Found this vid, it is in fact true. He has 20 forward gears

I've seen some crazy configurations in the trucks and drove a few, this one has it beat by far.
Thankfully i don't live in the those days.

He has 20 gears and each stick has to be in the right spot to get to the next gear up. And the sticks arent marked.

The deal is so many gears and alot less wheel control for going maybe 20 mph Hit a decent groove in the road, your arm is getting bent.. Plus alot more shit could be concentrating on.

If its a quad box, then its 16 gears, not 20.
If im correct, thier is also 2 gears HI/LOW = 4 for reverse also.
