February of 05....this is what can happen

Hey everyone....just wanted to share this. February 25 of 2005 me and my buddy were on our way back from a friends and it was slightly rainy out....only going about 40 mph....my friend went to shift, car started skidding all over the road....we went over the median and down into some trees....happened right on route 130 by seton hill....this wreck is why they put up the guardrails there. i didnt have my seatbelt on....got pretty lucky....it was crazy....my side slammed into a tree and i had to crawl out the window....just shows that it can happen at anytime at any speed...i would hate to see it happen to anyone, especiallly on here....this wreck fractured my neck and i have neck and back problems to this day. this was my friend bens baby....after that he got it all rebuilt and painted and today this car is badass.

none. Its said his arm was 300 yds away from the car. but I cant confirm that.

Kinda off topic but what year vette did all of you guys have?? Mitternacht,scott??? Etc. kInda strange to have so many vette owners in one post.lol

a red 85 with a l98 350 engine. 75k miles. 4 speed. glass removable roof. its a soar thing to look at now. would cost more to fix it than what its worth

I know that feeling... i wasn't able to get pics of my car when i wrecked it... it was heartbreaking... i had let my tires get too low and going around a turn (less than the speed limit actually) last november when it was raining, she slid out and i hit a tree... directly into the drivers' side door... crushed the entire side in... had to have the B-pillar pulled , etc ,etc.... now today she looks gorgeous and has a slightly more powerful motor on board
