Ive heard you personally cry like a baby how bad the track prep is at PRP. And im tired of hearing about your stock nonsence. The only vehicles that are STOCK are the way they came from the damb dealership. No tunes. No nothing. Buy it at the dealer and take the thing to the track. If an F-body ran a 12.99 from the dealship. Thats great. Id be impressed. As far as how much horsepower and who underrrates what. I dont care. RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG. Who ever wins, wins.

Your STOCK 06 is pretty impressive. The best i seen one run was a 13.8.

Oh and GM High Tech Performance and MM&FF always seem to "round down" their times by a couple of tenths. Also, it your girls car COMPLETELY stock. I know your definition of stock and it is not the same definition as mine.

My '89 is basically stock. Just has headers, O/R pipe and flows. It ran what it did when it was new. 14.6!! And thats with a bad trans.

Was that the first time ever with that car? I ran a 13.75 with a car that is not even mine (it's my dad's). I have driven it around the block a couple of times before Wednesday. The most I have ever driven it was to the track. With more seat time, I bet I could get a 13.5-13.6 out of it.

You have 2.73 with an auto. I'll bet wheelspin was not as much of an issue as a stick car with 3.55s. Granted, you have bigger cubes to make up the difference.

do you know what a SLP car is? one that came from factory with simple mods. a SLP SS 345hp comes with filter,air lid and catback. a factory production setup

stock this!!!!! yes that night it did suck, some nights it hooks. the night i got 8 runs in was prepped. and if you count you way. as long as it has the factory oil in it then its stock. if changed then its not technically from the factory then. now is it?

OK, my 88 GT T-Top car went 13.78 TOTALLY STOCK! That means with the original 3.08 Gear, yes that was a option over the 2.73, Factory Stock, not flowmaster exhaust, Factory Air Box w/ Air silencer in place, and full weight, just as it came off the showroom floor.

Pure Stock can attest to it as he was there when Prock ran it!

something about the ls1 guys and what they consider mods is always a mystery..... just like the vid from the flashlight drags w/ the "Cammed Ls1" that also had full exhaust, intake, gears, et streets and a boat of other crap, but it was a cam away from stock they are mean engines but most true stockers i've seen are in mid 13's 6spd to low 14's if automatics
