    Dan,
Thanks! I ran 13.97, 13.79, 13.75 and 13.75 with the 06. There is not a single mod on that car. I was pretty impressed. I am not familiar with that car at all. With more seat time, I might be able to squeak a 13.6999999 out of it.

I will see if I can make it to the next TNT. I want to see what you car runs!

and to think they claimed thoscars to be low 13s. its funny cause no matter what year stang you have or how much power they all seem to run similar to the previous year...everytho i see more foxs going faster stock or near stock which is wierd cause mags and ppl test the new S197s to be 13s with ease but not all hit that mark

That's because the brilliant engineers at ford continue to add weight to the damn thing. I wish they could find a way to stick these 300hp engines into a sub 3200lb car like the old foxes.

Blame it on the sloppy shifter :p and the tight engine. I think once she loosens up it'll be in the 13s no problem.

yes but then why does a LS1 with same power output go deeper then a stang? thats what i never understood. the foxes were the best every modle after that had some power but never made the times. you can still weight in at 3500lbs and still go deep 13s from factory

yes it is sloppier than a stock t5, but the aftermarket one brought it right back to as good and as far as the new cars not running as good every year the computer controls more and more things and keeps the cars from seeing their true potential, until a tune is put on it. the one i drove had a diablo and the hanging idle between shifts was gone with a big help in drivabilty

Pretty impressive for a stocker. With some practice itll run low 13s. Remember PRP isnt the greatest track in the world. At a better track itll be much closer to the low 13 second range.

Namely torque, and with it "area under the curve" that comes from the added cubes.
